Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Copia offers two-factor authentication using any authentication app such as Duo, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, and many more. This provides an extra layer of security to access your account. This guide will walk you through setting up and using two-factor authentication.

Access your user settings page on by selecting Settings from the top-right dropdown menu on any page in the app. 2FA settings are in the Security tab.
After clicking Enroll in Two-Factor Authentication, you will be shown a unique QR code.
Scan this QR code with any authentication app (Duo, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or any other) to add Copia as an application. The authentication app should show a 6-digit passcode that you must enter into Copia to complete setup.
You will be given a scratch token on the next screen, which you can use to access your account if you lose access to your authenticator app. Store this token in a safe place! If you lose it, you can regenerate a new token from this screen.

When your account has 2FA enabled, you will be prompted for a 6-digit passcode after logging in. Simply open your authenticator app and enter the passcode shown to continue.
You can also use your scratch token, if you have lost access to your authenticator app.
